To give a precise answer, this is a suggested range per crew member of daily tips, just multiply by the number of days:
PH: $70-$120
PH apprentice: $5-$40
Driver and Tracker: $5-$30 each
Scout and Private anti-poaching crew: $5 each
Parks Ranger: $5
Camp Staff: $5-$10 each
This equals anywhere between 4% and 10% of the safari cost
YES. Anything from a pocket knife to candy or colored pencils for the kids to clothing that you leave behind once you depart.

In Zimbabwe, you can hunt all year round. Depending on your hunt, we will recommend you specific times of the year.
We recommend you fly into Victoria Falls (VFA). This will allow you to cut down significantly the trip to camp.
Depending on the hunt, we recommend a different duration. To make a better estimate check our packages and plan for an additional day of arrival and one additional night on the last day of the hunt.
We use our River Range Camp as basecamp. This camp has all the amenities needed to make your stay as if you were at home. This includes hot water, laundry, electricity, chef & high-speed WiFi
The minimum caliber for any dangerous game in Zimbabwe is 375H&H. We recommend using the largest caliber with which you feel comfortable above 375H&H for dangerous game and anything above 30-06 for plains game.
We plan all our hunts in advance making all necessary arrangements to ensure you will have a fair number of changes to complete your safari successfully.

Yes, but we need to request a special permit that has an additional cost of $1,500. It takes between 30 and 60 days to be issued, so we encourage you to inform us in advance.

Zimbabwe has a long hunting safari tradition. Hunting safaris are one of the main sources of income for rural communities. Therefore, the is a great effort made by the authorities as well as by the local people to ensure the most pleasant experience.
You will get a wake-up call around 5:00 am. Breakfast will be ready for you and you should be jumping in the car by 6am.
The camp is located inside the hunting area, but the hunting area is large. It my take as much as 1:30 to get to some areas.
Expect to have a picnic around 11am with a nap break under a tree. If we are close to camp, we may come back for lunch.
We will hunt until sunset (around 6pm).
Dinner is ready by 7pm and after a chat at the fire place we head to our rooms to rest.
